General Bio

Brittany Chrishawn Williams, better known as Brittany Chrishawn, was born on August 28, 1990, in Jacksonville, Florida. She attended Paxon School for Advanced Studies in high school where she took chorus with Deborah McDuffie – a composer and producer who’d previously worked with legendary artists like Luther Vandross, Patti Labelle, and Janet Jackson.

In 2006, Brittany was selected to perform an original song at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. And in 2007, Deborah McDuffie invited her to join JMAC (Jacksonville Mass Choir). Here, she engaged in live performances at places like The Ritz Theatre, The Apollo Theater, and The Ritz-Carlton of Amelia Island.

Chrishawn later graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2012 with a BSBA in Finance and a BSBA in Business Management through UCF’s Burnett Honors College. She immediately relocated to NYC and then Los Angeles, CA where she initiated her entertainment career.

Brittany Chrishawn is now a Partner of ArtByTrade Productions where she serves as a Co-Producer, Artist, and Writer.


Author Bio

Brittany Chrishawn is from Jacksonville, Florida and was born in August 1990. Her first writing experiences was learning to write Haiku poems at her elementary school, Victory Christian Academy (VCA). She’d go home after school every day and transform her poetry into songs because she loved to sing. Through VCA, Brittany competed in GACS Fine Arts Festivals and won numerous awards for poetry and essay writing.

An international book for youth poetry recognized and published a 9-year-old Brittany’s poem about her family’s struggles. And the MGM Grand in Las Vegas recognized her for a piece she’d written at age 15.

After high school, Brittany attended the University of Central Florida (UCF). She was then accepted into the Honors in the Major Program by the Burnett Honors College. Here, she was awarded a medallion, scholarship, and publication in the University’s library for an original thesis. This thesis took her well over a year to research and write.

Upon graduating from UCF, Brittany relocated to NYC where fate introduced her to who’s now her creative partner, Ausar Moore. Together they wrote songs and comedy sketches and began bringing their creations to life through independent films. They wrote and produced a web-series of which they called “It’s A Wrap Show”. This series combined many of their previous comedy sketches along with newer content they collaborated on.

Currently, Brittany’s more heavily involved with co-writing screenplays like the award winning drama t.v. pilot GUN and the dramedy t.v. pilot Sinners.
