Life Goes On

From the Hip Hop Album

“Weather”

By Brittany Chrishawn
Life Goes On inspires its audience to walk life’s many paths knowing that regardless of what happens, life does still go on. As life teaches by example, one must go on to pursue one’s purpose no matter what occurs along the journey.

It was August 2014 when Brittany Chrishawn and Moor iLL took a road trip from East Orange, NJ all the way to Los Angeles, CA. As a result, L.A. became the birthplace of what they considered to be their first successful creation together – Life Goes On.

The artists wanted the tone of this video to be dark to coincide with the song’s lyrics and melodic features. They also wanted to deliver a simple, yet impactful and dramatic performance. And, they wanted the end result to be somewhat theatrical, but their budgets at the time were low. So, they rented a studio in downtown L.A., bought some lights from The Home Depot, and created a masterpiece with Moor iLL’s Canon t3i.

This was a life-changing project that will forever be a Brittany Chrishawn and Moor iLL classic. We say so because they themselves believe that this phase in their lives marked the beginning of their careers as true “professional” artists and business partners.
